Copycat

“See mom, bro is copying me!”

“You are copying my exercise book! Wait, I’ll let mom & dad know that you are a ‘Copycat!”

We often witness this type of complaints between two siblings at their infancies and be familiar with the term ‘Copycat’. But we not only desist knowing about it but also become a part of it deliberately or unconsciously, and get a customary life where there is no creativity. It means that we are turned into several devices as the rewards of imitating others’ deeds. The matter is so interesting that I have made it the content of this blog.

The word ‘Copycat’ has been being applied in reality since long back, but its literal uses have been started in recent days. In our childhood we used to notice many repeated events where some parents, while inspiring their children to score good marks in exam, always brought forth someone’s example in front of them and instructed, “You have to score 99 percent marks because the son/daughter of Mr./Mrs. X has scored the same. The son/daughter of Mr./Mrs. Y has become a Doctor/an Engineer/a Teacher etc., so you also should be the same in your future.” It only implies that those parents indirectly wanted their children to be ‘Copycats’. Such events have been increased in numbers in recent days. So this is one such part where someone is seen to be a copycat. Now, if the word ‘Copycat’ is considered as a matter instead of a person, then in present days its large uses in other parts of life also are found. Let’s mention one by one……….

(1) The example, which may be set as the first area of using the word ‘Copycat’, is – the exact imitation by one person to another with the purpose of being the same. In this case, the imitator copies everything from his idol, like his etiquette, posture, style and way of talking, even clothing style also so that he may turn into the other copy of his idol. And thus he loses his individuality and becomes a ‘Copycat’. In most of the cases, movie heroes, players, singers, politicians and other renowned personalities are seen to be considered as those idols. But in some cases the imitator imitates things from his surrounding people also. However, copying someone irrespective of the personality is nothing but the miss out of individuality. And it goes without saying that this type of miss out ceases the progress of life. But ‘Mimicry’ is different where a mimic jokingly copies his idol as a part of fun. But life is not an ‘Arena’ where we should always copy others for the sake of joke and fun only.

(2) The second area of using ‘Copycat’ is The World of Cinematograph. Huge increase of imitation in this field in recent days sometimes proves that the word ‘Copycat’ has been created for this field only. A continuous process of making fool to the spectators is being performed through the release of copied films. In this context, the movie buffs can easily identify the films copied from one ‘Wood’ to another (Bollywood, Tollywood, Hollywood, Kollywood…….). Not only the story, but the songs, tunes, dance steps, plots, even the cloth designs of the actors and actresses of a movie also are being literally copied and thrown in the market. And thus the entire movie is becoming a ‘Copycat’. But here instead of naming the movie a ‘Copycat’ it’s better name the same to the movie maker. The trend of copying in the world of cinematograph might be dynamic in view of business development, but it’s nothing but the devolution in respect of maintaining creativities as well as making this wonderful art alive.

(3) As the third instance we may mention the names of all organizations as well as offices where the uses of ‘Copycat’ happen. But in this area its uses are not at all bad. In most of the cases the imitation process becomes necessary to avoid delays in completion of work. For example, in an organization or an office if any document is required in large quantities, then the process of copying becomes the only option. Such copying process is done through various methods. If it is done by handwritten method, then the copies are made by using carbon papers or through writing the same format repeatedly. If it is done through typing in computer, then to make more copies “Copy-paste (ctrl+c, ctrl+v)” option is used. And if the first copy of a document is already prepared and printed, then to make more copies the method of photocopy is opted. Therefore, it is found that in all the cases the process of exact copying or imitating is done. This job of imitation is nowhere considered as bad; rather it’s a useful act for all purpose. But in the case of writing an application, it is often seen an employee searching for a format of the same already approved earlier. He intents to submit the copied application by his own name and signature keeping the body unchanged. So, here also such an employee is seen to be a ‘Copycat’. But this type of copying has both good and bad impacts. That’s not the subject matter of this blog. It may only be said that this is the area where the uses of ‘Copycat’ are found beneficial.

(4) As the fourth area; the picture of an examination hall can be set as example where not only one but also lots of Copycats do exist. Here the imitators become more interested to copy their friends’ answer sheets line by line than to answer the questions in their own language simply taking help from others. Such candidates are much expert in copying and they can follow the writing speeds and timing of their friends. The copying works are done so neatly and perfectly that the necessary corrections and rectifications made by the friend on his answer sheet are certainly found on that of the imitator also. Sometimes it seems that the word ‘Copycat’ has only been created keeping such people in mind! However, if such Copycats are caught on the spot, they are debarred from writing exams for next few years. But if the imitations are found later while checking, in most of cases the answer sheets of both the students are rejected from evaluation or sometimes a percentage of marks is deducted from the totals of each of them as penalties. Therefore one’s Copycat nature has been seen working badly on other’s life. And if the matter remains unobserved in any situation, then it goes without saying that this becomes harmful not only for the entire mankind but for the society also.

(5) The copying works in some fields are done so accurately that sometimes it becomes difficult to identify two different persons staying together (either seen directly or in photos). Each of them is seemed as different ‘Copycat’ made in the same mould. This is mostly found in the fields like, the fashion world where recent trends are followed by all, social media where snaps are taken with same poses by all to be uploaded, photo editing where same software is used to edit a photo etc.

(6) The most dangerous amongst all other fields of using ‘Copycat’ is, exact imitation of the life of a person considered as ideal or his lifestyle for being the counterpart of him. This is a big blunder and most of us intend to make such mistake. And while taking important decisions to build his career, one’s this type of copying nature makes him regret later.

(7) Apart from these there are so many other fields where the uses of Copycat are found. Those are ignored to make the blog brief.

Therefore, it is observed that the bad impacts of the word ‘Copycat’ are more prominent than its good impacts. We often make the same meaning of the two words ‘Following’ and ‘Imitating’ or can’t differentiate between them or make mistakes while applying those in our life. The word ‘Following’ refers making one’s life as per its own choice simply being inspired by other’s principles and thoughts, where the word ‘Imitating’ means the exact copying of other’s structural aspect which is not possible at all. To make the fine difference between these two words easily understandable, the example of a cinema can be set. We see that the hero of a movie is displayed as an idealist, courageous, loving, fashionable and as a man of rigid nature. When such a hero with the claimant of all positive characteristics is shown in a dance scene with the heroine, variations in his style and clothing are noticed e.g. Torn Jeans, Sleeveless Shirt, Shoes with variety of designs, attractive belt and diversity in the whole body structure including hair, beard, and moustache style etc. Now a Copycat while copying him selects only the fashion part of the hero keeping his internal virtues shown in the movie aside. In this case, it would have been better to the imitator ‘following’ the positive characteristics of the hero and applying those in his life for being an ideal and good human. But to be a carbon copy of the hero by ‘imitating’ his style, clothing etc. is nothing but a foolish act. Because we all are made aloof by the creator. And we should maintain our individuality. So to the mankind only ‘following’ is desirable, not ‘imitating’. And we should be ‘Followers’, not ‘Copycats’.

My appeal: In your life, sometimes you might be required to be a ‘Copycat’. But the practice of pressing “Copy-paste (ctrl+c; ctrl+v)” in all aspects of your life is not good. Sometimes you should compose the paragraphs of your life through ‘Typing’. So to make you a bit different from others; give up the mentality of being a ‘Copycat’ and to perform the work of building new chapters in your life; start ‘Typing’ from now onwards.

‘কপিক্যাট’

“মা দেখোনা, ভাই আমাকে নকল করছে !”
“তুই আমার খাতা দেখে নকল করছিস ! দাঁড়া, আমি মা-বাবা কে বলে দেবো যে তুই হলি একটা ‘কপিক্যাট’!”

শৈশবে ভাই-বোনেদের মধ্যে এই ধরণের নালিশগুলো প্রায়শই শোনা যায়। আর শিশুদের এই নালিশ থেকেই আমরা ‘কপিক্যাট’ ব্যাপারটা জানতে পারি। তবে আমরা যে শুধুমাত্র এটার ব্যাপারে জেনেই ক্ষান্ত থাকি তা নয়, জীবনে চলার পথে প্রায় সর্বক্ষেত্রেই জ্ঞানত বা অজ্ঞানত এটার একটা অংশে পরিণত হয়ে যাই। ফলস্বরূপ সৃজনশীলতা হারিয়ে একটা গতানুগতিক জীবনধারার কবলে পড়ে যাই। অর্থাৎ অন্যেরা যা হচ্ছে বা যা করছে বা যেভাবে চলছে সেটাকে সম্পূর্ণরূপে আয়ত্ত করতে গিয়ে নিজস্বতা হারিয়ে ফেলার সাথে সাথে এক এক রকমের যন্ত্রে পরিণত হই। বিষয়টা এতটাই মজাদার যে একে আমি আমার এই ব্লগের বিষয়বস্তু করে ফেললাম। চলো শুরু করা যাক………

‘কপিক্যাট’ শব্দটার বাস্তবিক প্রয়োগ বহুকাল আগে থেকেই চলে আসছে, কেবলমাত্র আক্ষরিক অর্থে এর প্রয়োগ ইদানিংকালে শুরু হয়েছে। আমরা আমাদের ছেলেবেলাতে বহু পিতামাতা কে তাদের সন্তানদের উদ্দেশ্যে বলতে শুনেছি, “অমুকের ছেলে/মেয়ে পরীক্ষায় ৯৯ শতাংশ নম্বর পেয়েছে, তোকেও পেতে হবে।” “অমুকের ছেলে/মেয়ে ডাক্তার/ইঞ্জিনিয়ার/শিক্ষক ইত্যাদি হয়েছে, তাই তোকেও হতে হবে।” ওইসব পিতামাতার অপ্রত্যক্ষ উদ্দেশ্য হল তাদের সন্তানরা যেন অমুকের সন্তানদের মত হয়, মানে তাদেরকে নকল করে যেন হয়ে ওঠে এক একটা ‘কপিক্যাট’। ওই ধরণের ঘটনা ইদানিং আরও বেড়ে গেছে।  এই তো গেলো জীবনের একটা অংশ যেখানে কাউকে কপিক্যাট হওয়াতে বা হতে চাইতে দেখা গেলো। এখন এই ‘কপিক্যাট’ কে যদি কোনো ব্যক্তি হেসেবে না ধরে একটা বিষয় হিসেবে ধরা হয়, তাহলে ইদানিং জীবনের অন্যান্য ক্ষেত্রেও এর প্রয়োগ ব্যাপকভাবে হতে দেখা যায়। এক এক করে উল্লেখ করা যাক………

(১) কপিক্যাট-এর প্রয়োগের ক্ষেত্র হিসেবে সর্বপ্রথম যে দৃষ্টান্ত উল্লেখ করা প্রয়োজন, তা হল- একজন মানুষের অন্য আর একজনকে হুবহু নকল করা বা পুরোপুরি তার মত হতে চাওয়া। এক্ষেত্রে নকল করা ব্যাক্তি অন্যজনের আদব-কায়দা, ভঙ্গি, শৈলী, কথা বলার ধরণ এমনকি পোষাক-পরিচ্ছদকেও নকল করে পুরোপুরি তার মত হয়ে উঠতে চায়। ফলস্বরূপ ধীরে ধীরে সে তার নিজস্বতা সম্পূর্ণরূপে হারিয়ে ফেলে একটা কপিক্যাটে পরিণত হয়। বেশীরভাগ ক্ষেত্রেই যার থেকে বা যাকে নকল করা হয় সেই ব্যক্তি চলচ্চিত্রের কোনো নায়ক, কোনো খেলোয়ার, গায়ক, রাজনীতিবিদ অর্থাৎ কোনো না কোনো খ্যাতনামা ব্যাক্তি হয়ে থাকে। তবে কিছুক্ষেত্রে নকলকারী তার আশেপাশের কোনো অনুগামী ব্যক্তিকেও নকল করে থাকে। তাই, ব্যক্তি যেই হোক না কেনো, তাকে পুরোপুরি নকল করলে নিজস্বতা হারানো ছাড়া আর কিছুই পাওয়া যায় না। আর নিজস্বতা হারানোর ফলে জীবনের অগ্রগতি যে স্থগিত হয়ে যেতে পারে তা আর বলার অপেক্ষা রাখে না। তবে অনুকৃতি ব্যাপারটা হল অন্যরকম যেখানে মজার ছলে একজন ভক্ত তার শ্রদ্ধার পাত্রকে নকল করার মাধ্যমে মানুষকে আনন্দ দিয়ে থাকে। কিন্তু জীবনটা কোনো রঙ্গমঞ্চ নয় যে মজার দোহাই দিয়ে সমসময় কাউকে নকল করে যেতে হবে।

(২) দ্বিতীয় যে ক্ষেত্রে কপিক্যাট-এর ব্যাপক প্রয়োগ দেখা যায়, তা হল চলচ্চিত্র জগত। ইদানিং এই জগতে নকলের পরিমাণ এতটাই বেড়ে গেছে যে, ‘কপিক্যাট’ বিষয়টার উৎপত্তি শুধুমাত্র যে এই একটা ক্ষেত্রের জন্যই হয়েছে, তা বলা যায়। একটা চলচ্চিত্রের গল্পকে হুবহু নকল করে অন্য আর একটা চলচ্চিত্র বানিয়ে দর্শককে ক্রমাগত বোকা বানানো হচ্ছে। এক্ষেত্রে যারা খুব বেশী সিনেমাপ্রেমী তারা সহজেই ধরতে পারবে যে, কোনো সিনেমার একটা গল্প, সে যে ‘উড’ এরই হোক না কেনো (বলিউড, টলিউড, হলিউড, কলিউড………), অন্য কোনো ‘উড’-এর হুবহু নকল। শুধু গল্পই নয়, বর্তমানে গান, গানের সুর, নাচের ধাপ, প্রেক্ষাপট, এমনকি নায়ক-নায়িকা ও অন্যান্য অভিনেতা-অভিনেত্রীদের পোষাকের রঙ ও নকশাও অবিকল নকল করে বাজারে ছেড়ে দেওয়া হয়। আর সম্পূর্ণ ছবিটা একটা ‘কপিক্যাট’ এ পরিণত হয়। তবে এক্ষেত্রে ছবিটাকে ‘কপিক্যাট’ আখ্যা না দিয়ে ছবির প্রস্তুতকারীকে দেওয়াই শ্রেয়। চলচ্চিত্রের ক্ষেত্রে এই নকল করার প্রবণতা ব্যবসায়িক উন্নয়ণের চাবিকাঠি হলেও নতুন গল্প তৈরির মাধ্যমে সৃজনশীলতার উদ্ভাবক হিসেবে এবং এইরূপ সুন্দর একটা শিল্পকে বাঁচিয়ে রাখার ক্ষেত্রে অবক্ষয় ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়।

(৩) কপিক্যাট-এর প্রয়োগের তৃতীয় ক্ষেত্র হিসেবে সমস্ত রকমের ‘প্রতিষ্ঠান’ এবং ‘কার্যালয়’ এর কথা উল্লেখ করা যেতে পারে। তবে এক্ষেত্রে সবসময় যে এর খারাপ দিক দেখা যায়, তা নয়। বেশীরভাগ ক্ষেত্রে কার্য সম্পাদনে বিলম্ব রুখতে কোনো বিষয়কে নকল করার প্রয়োজনীয়তা দেখা দেয়। যেমন একটা প্রতিষ্ঠান বা কার্যালয়ে কোনো ফর্ম বা ওই জাতীয় কোনো কাগজাদি একাধিক সংখ্যায় প্রয়োজন হলে সেক্ষেত্রে কেবলমাত্র অনুলিপির সাহায্য নেওয়া হয়। এই অনুলিপির কাজ হাতে লেখার মাধ্যমে করলে কার্বন পেপার বা একই ছকে একাধিবার লেখন, কম্পিউটারে টাইপিং এর মাধ্যমে করলে একটা কপি তৈরি করার পর “কপি-পেষ্ট (ctrl+c, ctrl+v)”-এর দ্বারা আরো অনেক কপি তৈরি এবং ইতিমধ্যে প্রথম কপি তৈরি করে ছাপা হয়ে যাওয়ার পর আরো অনেক কপি ছাপাতে চাইলে ‘ফটোকপি’র সাহায্য নেওয়া হয়ে থাকে। সুতরাং দেখা গেলো, মাধ্যম যাই হোক না কেনো প্রতি ক্ষেত্রে কিন্তু হুবহু নকল করার কাজই চলে। এই নকলের কাজ খারাপ তো নয়ই, বরং সর্বক্ষেত্রে প্রয়োজনীয়। কিন্তু একটা প্রতিষ্ঠান বা কার্যালয়ে কোনো দরখাস্ত লেখার প্রয়োজন হলে একজন কর্মচারীকে প্রায়ই পূর্বের কোনো ছকের খোঁজ করতে বা অন্য কারোর কাছে তার লেখা দরখাস্তের খোঁজ করতে দেখা যায়, যাতে সে শুধুমাত্র নিজের নাম ও তারিখ বদলে বাকি বিষয়বস্তু হুবহু নকল করে নিজে দস্তখৎ করে অনুকৃত দরখাস্তটা জমা দিতে পারে। অর্থাৎ এক্ষেত্রেও ওই কর্মচারী হয়ে দাঁড়ালো একটা ‘কপিক্যাট’। তবে এই ধরণের নকল করার কাজের ভালো, খারাপ দুটো দিকই আছে। সেগুলো এখানকার আলোচ্য বিষয় নয়। শুধু এটা বলা যেতে পারে যে ‘কপিক্যাট’-এর প্রয়োগের এই ক্ষেত্রটাই একমাত্র ভালো দিকের মধ্যে পড়ে।

(৪) চতুর্থ ক্ষেত্র হিসেবে পরীক্ষার হলের চিত্রকে উদাহরণস্বরূপ দেখানো যায় যেখানে এক নয়, একাধিক কপিক্যাট থাকে। অন্যের খাতা দেখে বা অন্যের সাহায্য নিয়ে নিজের মত করে উত্তর দেওয়ার প্রবণতা ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের মধ্যে যতটা না থাকে, তার থেকেও বেশী থাকে অন্যের খাতাকে হুবহু নকল করার মত মানসিকতা। এক্ষেত্রে নকলকারী নকল করার কাজে এতটাই নিপুণ হয় যে তার বন্ধুর লেখার গতি ও সময়ের সাথে পুরোপুরি তাল মিলিয়ে চলতে পারে এবং বন্ধু কোনো ভুল উত্তর লিখে সংশোধনের জন্য সেটাকে কেটে দিলে নকলকারীর খাতায়ও ওই একই জিনিস লক্ষ্য করা যায়।  মাঝে মাঝে মনে হয় এইসব মানুষদের কথা মাথায় রেখেই হয়তো ‘কপিক্যাট’ শব্দটার উৎপত্তি হয়েছে ! যাই হোক, এই ধরণের নকল করার কাজ ঘটনাস্থলেই ধরা পড়লে নকলকারীর খাতা বাতিল করে আগামী কয়েক বছরের জন্য তাকে পরীক্ষা দেওয়া থেকে বরখাস্ত করা হয়। কিন্তু যদি ওই কাজ পরবর্তীতে খাতা দেখার সময় ধরা পরে, সেক্ষেত্রে অনেকসময় শাস্তিস্বরূপ নকলকারী ও তার পরোপকারী বন্ধু – উভয়ের খাতাই বাতিল করা হয় বা প্রাপ্ত নম্বরের থেকে কিছুটা কেটে নেওয়া হয়। অতএব দেখা গেল এক্ষেত্রে কপিক্যাট অন্যের জীবনের উপর কুপ্রভাব ফেলতে কার্যকরী হল। আর যদি এই বিষয় কোনো পরিস্থিতিতেই শিক্ষকদের দৃষ্টিগোচর না হয়ে থাকে, তাহলে সেটা সমগ্র মানবজাতির সাথে সাথে সমাজের ক্ষেত্রেও কতটা ক্ষতিকর, তা বলাই বাহুল্য।

(৫) যে কোনো ধরণের ফ্যাশনের ক্ষেত্রে চলতি ট্রেন্ড অনুযায়ী চলা, সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় দেওয়ার জন্য একই ভঙ্গীতে ছবি তোলা, ছবি এডিট করার ক্ষেত্রে একই সফটওয়্যারের ব্যবহার – এইসব ক্ষেত্রগুলোতে একে অপরকে নকল করার কাজ এত নিখুঁতভাবে করা হয় যে পাশাপাশি অবস্থিত দুজন মানুষকে দেখলে (সচক্ষে হোক বা ছবিতে) পার্থক্য করাই অনেকসময় মুশকিল হয়ে দাঁড়ায়। সবাই যেন একই ছাঁচে গড়া বা এক একটা ‘কপিক্যাট’ !

(৬) ‘কপিক্যাট’ প্রয়োগের সবচেয়ে ভয়ংকর ক্ষেত্রটা হল কোনো ব্যাক্তিকে আদর্শ মনে হলে তার জীবনকে বা জীবন কাটানোর ধরণকে পুরোপুরি নকল করে অবিকল তার মত হতে চাওয়া। এটা হল মস্ত বড় একটা ভুল কাজ, আর এই ভুল করার প্রবণতা বহু মানুষের মধ্যে লক্ষ্য করা যায়। আর সেই কারণেই তারা নিজেদের জীবন তৈরির জন্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়ার সময় নকল করার মানসিকতার জন্য ভুল করে ফেলে ও পরবর্তীকালে আফসোস করতে থাকে।

(৭) এগুলো ছাড়াও এমন আরও বহু ক্ষেত্র আছে যেখানে কপিক্যাট-এর প্রয়োগ হতে দেখা যায়। ব্লগটির সংক্ষিপ্তকরণে সেগুলোকে বাদ দেওয়া হল।

সুতরাং দেখা গেল যে, ‘কপিক্যাট’ শব্দটার ভালো দিকের থেকে খারাপ দিকটাই বেশী। আমরা অনেকসময় ‘অনুসরণ’ ও ‘অনুকরণ’ – এর মানে এক করে ফেলি বা শব্দদুটোর মধ্যে পার্থক্য করতে পারি না বা পারলেও নিজেদের জীবনে প্রয়োগের ক্ষেত্রে ভুল করে ফেলি। ‘অনুসরণ’ এর অর্থ কোনো আদর্শ ব্যক্তির দ্বারা অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে তার নীতি, আদর্শ ও ধ্যান-ধারণাকে নিজের মত করে জীবনে কাজে লাগানো, আর ‘অনুকরণ’এর অর্থ হল পুরোপুরি ওই ব্যক্তির মত হতে চাওয়া, যা একজন মানুষের পক্ষে কখনোই সম্ভব নয়। বিষয় দুটোর মধ্যে সূক্ষ্ম পার্থক্য আরও পরিষ্কারভাবে বোঝানোর জন্য একটা সিনেমার উদাহরণ দেওয়া যায়। যে কোনো সিনেমার ক্ষেত্রে আমরা দেখে থাকি নায়ককে একটা আদর্শবাদী, নির্ভীক, স্নেহপূর্ণ, সুরুচিসম্মত, দৃঢ় চরিত্রে তুলে ধরা হয়। সমস্ত ইতিবাচক স্বভাবের অধিকারী ঐ নায়ককে যখন নায়িকার সঙ্গে নাচ-গানের দৃশ্যে দেখানো হয়, তখন তার পোশাক-পরিচ্ছদ ও শৈলীতে বৈচিত্র্য লক্ষ্য করা যায়, যেমন চীর্ণ জিন্স প্যান্ট, হাতাবিহীন জামা, বিভিন্ন নকশার জুতো, আকর্ষণীয় কোমরের বেল্ট ইত্যাদি এবং চুল, দাড়ি, গোঁফ সহ সম্পূর্ণ চেহারাতে বিভিন্ন তারতম্য। এখন একজন কপিক্যাট নকল করার ক্ষেত্রে সিনেমায় প্রদর্শিত নায়কের বিভিন্ন চারিত্রিক গুণাবলীকে নকল না করে তার ‘ফ্যাশন’ গুলোকে নকল করে হুবহু তার মত হতে চায়। এক্ষেত্রে নায়কের স্বভাবগুলোকে ‘নকল’ নয়, বরং ‘অনুসরণ’ করে নিজের জীবনে কাজে লাগিয়ে একজন আদর্শ মানুষ হয়ে উঠতে চাওয়াটাই কাম্য হওয়া উচিত। কিন্তু তার চাল-চলন থেকে শুরু করে শৈলী, পোশাক-আশাক সবকিছুকে হুবহু ‘অনুকরণ’ করে নিজেকে নায়কের একটা কার্বন কপি হিসেবে তৈরী করার বাসনা নিছক বোকামো ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়। কারণ সৃষ্টিকর্তা প্রত্যেক মানুষকে আলাদা আলাদাভাবে বানিয়েছে। এবং প্রত্যেক মানুষের তার নিজস্বতা বজায় রাখা দরকার। তাই সমগ্র মানবজাতির ক্ষেত্রে ‘অনুকরণ’ নয়, ‘অনুসরণ’ কাম্য। আর আমাদের হওয়া উচিত ‘অনুচারী’, ‘নকলকারী’ বা ‘কপিক্যাট’ নয়।

আমার আবেদন: তোমার চলার পথে কিছু কিছু ক্ষেত্রে হয়তো নকল করার বা ‘কপিক্যাট’ হওয়ার প্রয়োজন পড়তে পারে। কিন্তু জীবনের সর্বক্ষেত্রে “কপি-পেষ্ট (ctrl+c; ctrl+v)” মারার প্রবণতা মোটেই ভালো নয়। অনেকসময় নিজের জীবনের অনুচ্ছেদ ‘টাইপিং’-এর মাধ্যমে রচনা করতে হয়। তাই নিজেকে অন্যের থেকে একটু আলাদাভাবে তৈরি করতে ‘কপিক্যাট’-এর মানসিকতা ত্যাগ করে জীবনের নতুন নতুন অধ্যায় গড়ার কাজ আজ থেকে ‘টাইপ’-এর দ্বারা করা শুরু করো।
